Ya'll thinking too much, lol. They're just saying she went down the wrong path after she made her hobby into her job. Its a fairly common thing when that happens. You forget the original joy you had of doing it as a hobby and start to kind of get a more arrogant? mindset when you see others doing it the longer you're working. Its why people say that turning your hobby into your job can ruin your love for it.
