I hope the author will soon make a new plot for Ririsa. This is just my feeling, it feels like the love story is more directed towards Mikarin while the cosplayer story is more towards Ririsa. I just don't like the assumption that "Mikarin will get Okumura as a boyfriend and Ririsa will get Okumura as the best otaku partner", I don't really like that. So what if Ririsa can't be compared to Mikarin who has known Okumura for a longer time? Ririsa also tries, even holding herself back because she doesn't want to ruin her relationship with the people around her just because of her feelings for Okumura. That's why from what I see, Ririsa is much more worthy of being the best girl. She suppresses her own feelings in order to realize her dream of being a cosplayer with Okumura.

Even though at first Okumura was more interested in Ririsa, the author decided to give more space to Mikarin. Ironically, Mikarin became a cosplayer just to get close to the person she likes, that's why until now I can't like this one girl even though I have no problem with the others. I can only hope that Hashimoto is not influenced by Mikarin fans who hope that Okumura will choose Mikarin and make Ririsa a "sacrifice" by forcing Ririsa as if she doesn't need love other than being a cosplayer as her goal, don't let it be like that...

That's why I hope that the meeting between Ririsa and her parents will be the beginning of a new story plot for Ririsa and Okumura's relationship. They both need more stories if they want their relationship to develop from before.
