I guess even if you can actually talk to the cat, having a vet checkup is like taking a kid to the dentist. Or me.
To brag more about our cat, this is totally Mofu at the vet - he's so afraid he just lays there and you can do anything you want to him. Which is very convenient, but I feel for him!
It was always awful to get my little one into the carrier. At the office, she was easy and cooperative, even going back into the carrier on her own once the vet was done. The contrast was astonishing.

time and money aside i hear (as well as the other pets in the carriers maybe freaking out at each other) that some ppl bring their pets to the vet more often as normal 'visits' to bond/get used to the doctor so they don't associate with painful shots and such each time
