This is of course something produced by amateurs, and so we don't expect a professional-level result. Given that, it's OK. It's important to keep doing stuff. I've noticed in webcomics that keep at it (mostly independent Western ones where you can look at the real beginnings) there is so often a huge improvement from the beginning to a few years later--the writer kept at it and got good.
On the writing . . .
the initial hostage situation is a very old device. Nothing wrong with that, especially since from the look of the description it's supposed to be the basis of the main relationship, not a big thing in itself. But everyone knows what these things look like; there's no reason to stretch it out with panel after panel of the evil--or should I say, Eeevilll--gang leader twirling his metaphorical mustachios. Too over the top IMO. When you overdramatize that far it stops adding tension and starts leaching it out, all the more so when you don't know the characters yet so you don't much care about their deal. The hostage crisis is also not generally the place for the initial dump of exposition. Drop a hint or two, get to the action, explain later--maybe think how to do the explaining gradually. The audience don't have to know everything about the characters RIGHT NOW. The urge to just hand it all over is understandable--you've invented this cool person you're proud of and you want to tell everyone what's so great about them. But it bogs things down.

Have you guys tried focusing the entirety of your efforts into on project instead of distributing it into many? I'm not sure how far of the story you plan, but it's worth putting effort into both character design, and more importantly have a rough story line that will have an idea of where you want to end. At the moment it seems like you guys are juggling multiple webtoons, and in manga I would definitely say:
Quality > Quantity. Although It's great that you guys are practicing by making multiple different series, because the experience is definite valuable, I would say that you might want to get a solid foundation before releasing it online and the such.

I definitely give you guys points for doing. So many never get past thinking they would like to or how they could do better than 'that' guy. Keep putting in the effort and improving. I'm rooting for you! 😉
