But it's justified. Recall way back in Chapter 16, we learned that Marl being there with Taishi is actually her being sent to him by "God".

So it would make sense if she's been blessed with some secret whammy that can save his ass in a pinch.

While being rez'ed was part of it, I was more talking about the MC's sudden ability to near fully heal and completely counter a threat he previously had so much trouble with. I mean sure a near death experience almost always has the effect of refocusing a MC's thought process, but the author's use here was very hamfisted, almost as if they recieved a bad review from the editor/publisher and told to rewrite the scene to make it more exciting.
