So... possibly unpopular opinion? So long as the other girls don't remember who they are, they can't be interesting characters beyond their surface pastiche. I want an event where they're forced to remember and now have to negotiate who they were and who the've been performing as up to this point, with Riko acting as a mediator.

You say otaku and hikikomori are different but I'm pretty sure one person can be both

Nah muscle head, witch, and Chunni are fine for me. Gay is too agressive

You know, I was about to post something similar to this myself. "I'm a 30 year old man turned into a magical girl" is the title of the manga, but the past dozen chapters are "some cute girls do cute things." Wasting a valuable setting and the first dozen chapters like this is disappointing.

The other “girl” who is now a hardcore misandrist will remember that she actually was a hardcore misogynist. She might kill herself because of that. Remember everyone’s viewpoint got altered a bit even though they’re still the “same”.

Maybe not self-delete, but the resulting conflict/anguish would be more interesting than what we have now. Which is very dollar store cute girls being cute girls but with the genderswap appeal scrubbed out.

It's a gag manga. Doubt it's going to get that serious. I guess you could play it for laughs but it's kind of horrifying when you really think about it

Wonder if Riko's mom is still around
Then I really want Riko to meet her mom and have her known that her son is turned into a girl and young again
I wanna know her reaction to that

I'd agree with you, if not for the chapter where the awful awful mascot character reflects on the implications and resolves to treat Riko better. Absolutely shocked me and made me believe more in this manga.

Honestly part of the appeal of TS/genderswap-related works is how often they do grapple with implications, against expectation.
