Yeah, you can forego the redrawing for sfx since sometimes seeing something in english is wonky.

Like I’ll see a Kanji and my brain will fill it with a sound more suitable for it, even if it’s the wrong translation. Not being able to read has its perks some times.

That first page sfx perhaps it was "wara wara" instead of kuu kuu. And there is an untranslated "ha!" when she wakes up next panel too.

sfx notes are good enough and some know at least hiragana and katakana to enjoy reading manga sfx.
