When I was a kid, along with a sister, we had to go to the field where we had potatos every morning to collect/kill/remove the bugs that ate it's leaves. Those buggers:

Fun fact, you hands would get orangey from them and their eggs. Not the most pleasant but we were cheaper than insecticides. And we were actually available, compared to insecticides since we didn't have money for it.
