Also, why go so far as to start a whole freaking war to kill a single person? He literally said it was to kill Haro, but why? Won't they just make another Haro or is it that reincarnation is real and it is just being used to push agendas?

I nice plot twist at the end would be that characters actually can reincarnate after the manga denying it like it did these past few chapters.

@Mizumachi There's probably something to be gained by "identifying" and hunting the next Haro. It's entirely possible they'll pick a political pawn as the next Haro to gain leverage over a known dissident or something.

That being said, it's probably true that reincarnation does occur in this universe, but I highly doubt it's predictable or even identifiable who a past life is without much more effort than they actually put in. It's more likely that it's a system to perpetuate and justify inequalities in their society.

That something is something amazing, they would as far as to stage a war(wit real deaths even if it is a farce) for it.
I do agree that if reincarnation occurs, they wouldn't be able to pinpoint who is who.
