I don't often speak out about this sort of thing because I hate drama, but dude, this was a total dick move. It's bad enough we get idiots whining about how we at Raptor Scans aren't releasing fast enough to meet whatever stupid as shit timeline they have in their head, but to actually put out an absolute shit machine translation chapter? We do this shit for free and on our own time. To snipe a chapter with an extremely sub-par translation not only shits on everything we want to do, but it devalues our own release when it's ready. Other reader sites have already scraped this, so some people are going to only see this chapter. It would be one thing if you sniped with a quality translation (which would still be a dick move) but this is unacceptable. I do not know what the Mangadex policy is about snipes, but I will be contacting the staff about this.

People who do mind should heed your warning and stop reading there.
The 'quality' scans should be happy someone is handing out junk food to the hungry and letting them work without headache.

Personally, I don't care if multiple people are expending actual effort. That's great, there's options, different people have different localization styles and tastes.

But this? Machine translations are a nice last resort... but it is stupid as heck to resort to unreliable babelfish insanity when people that actually speak japanese are translating the material already.
Or, to put it simply: "Shelf?"

Well, while it's not necessarily a bad thing, this translation just wasn't needed. The manga already has TLs. I'd much rather see something without TLs have this kinda translation over this.

I'm usually not a stickler for quality. Poor grammar? No problem. No typesetting and redrawing done? I can live with that. Lousy image quality? I'll deal. But this thing is almost in rewrite territory. The translation is so obviously wrong in so many places, given the context. I'm sorry, but this release can't reasonably call itself a translation, because it's not.
