dense chapter, but I'm definitely not complaining
glad we got a bit more of Meiling talking to Seiichi, she continues to be absolutely fascinating in how she prefers to follow others while ignoring the problems stacking up around her. Loved the visuals for the conversation too and how it all came racing back to reality once Seiichi brought up Meiling's father
and Anzu in the back half of the chapter, man. She's fully locked into a fight with herself (and her mom by extension) and I can't wait to see what the changed lyrics will show about what she realized in the middle of all that swirling doubt. It's a solo fight for her but it changes everyone around her as it changes herself... if she's getting ready to sing a call to action I hope her words properly reach people like Meiling in the audience as much as they'll hopefully reach herself

page 17 was phenomenal. I don't know if that was in English to begin with, but if that's the work of the TL team, then all I can say is bravo.
I dunno if Anzu's going to find the answers shes seeks. I honestly don't expect her to, and think it's a fool's errand to assume she would.
But I hope she finds a bit of herself, her self, the moment the first riff hits, and she can lose every thing else, for the duration.

Something about this manga is so empathetic. There are moments when I can relate and recall when I've felt exactly like the characters, but even when it's something I've never personally experienced it's still so real and understandable. The artistry and pacing is absolutely impeccable as well. This series needs to be more popular!!
