I found this manga to be the very first manga I've read so far that called out to "playing victim" directly in its story. I hope more series should tacker this stupid mentality we see all the time in media. All these villains with some sort of "deep & complicated character" nowadays do is to call out others trying to kill them for murdering and raping countless people or attempting as "hypocrites" or "the same as them" for preventing more tragedies and punishing them.

Tanjirou continues to be a boss.
And this fused Hatred demon has a great design.

I had imagined a combined form would have been a mixture of the four primal emotions: it'll have wings and multiple arms for wielding polearms, along with the power to induce storms through wind and lightning.
It may not have wings, but it might still have the power to induce storms.

See, a few early Baidu comments made some interesting ideas: given how the wood manipulation was triggered by beating on the second drum from the left on both occasions, what if each of the five drums correspond to one of the Five Elements?

As in, what if Hatred has access to Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth powers? That would actually be a terrifying prospect.
