People say that this raises the bar for Tadano regarding confessing to Komi... but whoever said that it's Tadano that's going to confess in the end? Wouldn't it make more sense for Komi to be the one to confess, considering she's the one who matches her dad's role in the relationship (i.e. the quiet one)? It would be an epic demonstration of how much courage and resolve she has managed to gain by that point, IMO.
... Of course, I fully expect her to melt into a squirming puddle of massive embarrassment within 10 seconds of finishing her epic confession.
