i'd love to see a prequel to this chapter where komi's dad goes around and arranges all this. hell, he got her two friends in on it too. i'm so interested to know how someone who struggles as much, perhaps even more, than his daughter set it up. like, was he panicking the entire time but his love for komi's mom spurred him onward? i just gotta know what that looked like.
