What's the point of this? Why tell so much in a single chapter? All in all, what this slide show covered could have been the best part of the story, yet now it was skipped with this haphazard narration. Who would care at all about characters that are only shown in a single panel? I can't fathom what went through the author's mind. Not worth reading further.

Wow, this really is WAY to full of spoilers. Is this enough to be called a summary?
I just don't like OP characters so much. Not the concept itself but the execution as that only rarely gets done right and this looks like some sort of weird wish fulfillment type of story. The sort where the MC breezes through life and gets all the girls thrown after him and all of his former enemies regret ever having looked down on him

Also was the original owner really trash? From what I could see he wasn't really sociable and gloomy but that doesn't tell us a lot. He did let himself get insulted by them but there are people that "go missing" after experiencing such a tragic loss at a very young age and some of them have a hard time opening up again afterward. Obviously not to the degree of becoming a shut-in, I've seen myself show similar behaviour when I was younger but luckily I was able to bounce back for the most part
