Oki is taking her time inside the barrier.
I have been criticising the author for a long time now, but I feel like this scene with Ms Courier wasn't so bad. I guess the author could have some talent, but is just lacking experience. Too bad isekai/reverse isekai, or most standard fantasy, isn't the best place to gain meaningful experience because the market is so awfully saturated. Series come and go, and there must be a thousand of them on different platforms, with most of them getting kicked out sooner rather than later, to make room for another copy-pasta story. So, even if an author spent a lot of effort to develop themselves and doing extensive research for the story, it would be extremely difficult to make a breakthrough. Getting a manga adaptation that gets "automatically" axed in ~20 chapters must be a scant comfort.

So Oki is a big deal? I thought she was just a nobody ngl.
In that case, since Oki herself is amazed by Daiki, that should mean Daiki himself is freak of nature. And that's just from his inhuman emotions such as reaction to injury.
If he somehow got anything else to show from his isekai travels.... then its safe to say Earth mages would just be lil chumps. But the story seems to have kinda serious/somber tone so I dont know if he's gonna be typical OP dude
