He was extremely fatigued. If he chose status points, how will he do the quest for the following day? Looking at his stat, it looks like he chose status points before, his stats are mostly 10 aside from strength. Yes it is just my conjecture, but aside from that he seems to be trying out all the reward it gives.
Besides, choosing restore is not that bad. He still exercised as worded here so he still gets boost on his physical and stamina.

and that double awakening can very well be that system... you should've waited to increase your stats before going there you know...

The key is E ranked, he believed he could just run to the entrance if it all goes wrong. Although I think that was dumb as well, seeing how D rank dungeon royally fucked them.

Nah, that 10 is too high compared to his other stats. It would make sense if the other ones were at least five times higher, but as they are, the "Intelligence 10" is a lie.

@Keinritt What are you talking about? SSS26032002 was speaking about the nurse, that didn't bat an eye to the sand present in the hospital room when there isn't even sand outside... And he was extremely fatigued from his training? Even more the reason to buff his stats, in order to recover faster and having an easier time enduring those harsh quests. Choosing recovery over stat points is dumb if he wasn't seriously injured. He was only tired from his exercices, resting for the rest of the day would have recovered him just the same. So it was stupid. But anyways, from the other comments it seems that he actually gets all 3 rewards, so it doesn't really matter that much apparently.

Though getting alone in a dungeon when you're despairingly weak and just experienced a dungeon that doesn't allow you to flee is the dumbest possible thing to do. Let's face it, he's retarded

Tiredness and fatigue are different thing. I won't explain how, do your own research.

And the latter is not easily gotten over. All my statements here are made with just the info as of this chapter, without looking on future chapter.

Since I speculated here that he is fatigued from continues training, it would be bad to remove that bad status so he can continue with tomorrow's training.

Regarding the dungeon, his situation is unprecedented in his world. The first dungeon had double entrance, an S(?) Ranked dungeon inside a D rank one. And the second door only closed when they were at a distance from it. So it still stand to a fact that the dungeon is normally equal to it's rank unless there is another entrance inside. That's what he is basing his actions on. That's why he thought he could still run. But the entrance immediately closed as soon as he entered.

Guys, he's just a former NPC who has no idea how this player-like stuff works. I'm guessing the people in that world, being nothing but NPCs (cannon fodder) just do things over and over. Like how the MC just keeps going dungeoneering with zero training, prep, or items. He literally said just a few chapters ago that all he does is enter with a team, get injured, and do the same thing again. Over and over.... exactly like a classic NPC in a game.

Example:

NPC Guard: Welcome to Coneria.
Player: Do you have any quests?
NPC Guard: Welcome to Coneria.
Player: Where is the inn?
NPC Guard: Welcome to Coneria.
Player: Damn, you only say that one thing, huh?
NPC Guard: Welcome to Coneria.

@mahtan No he's not, at least not yet. Daily quests as the name suggest are daily. Given that his stats probably all started at 10, now the story obviously said that he was the weakest of the weak and 4 daily quests aren't enough to change that much, especially since its not even guaranteed he picked stat points each of the other three times.

A lot of you guys are basing things on assumed or faulty knowledge and I would say that's worse than the MC's trail and error (the basis for pretty much all knowledge and wisdom) even if its risky.

It was confirmed that he receive all the rewards not only one.
Also alkl the hunters are already superhumans when compared to a non-hunter, he may be the weakest hunter but that still makes him stornger than most normal humans.

complaints about shit mc:
1. the whole "divine stuff" - this guy is supposed to be smarter than the average dude, in order to unlock that awakening stuff, right? so he should've realised what this meant. "penalty"? if it were me i'd be panicking over whether that's like;; death.
2. pretty sure this is set in korea, so i'm assuming in a similar world to ours - where is the videogame knowledge? i'm sure everyone at least has basic knowledge of videogames and the functions. spending more time on actually figuring this stuff out can like;; really help.
3. feel like this opness is wasted on him. give like einstein abilities, will ya?
4. that skill point spread... omg. i'm guessing 10 is basic stat. only noobs^tm would spend it all on strength. at least go safe and give +1 to all of the stats, since there's no apparent meta.
5. the whole dungeon key thing. ???. just. why? it's a new item, research it, maybe ask other people for explanation (the key was materialised in his hand;; i think real people would be a little curious, esp in a world with magical abilities yey.) don't waltz into it, barehanded, with no idea. says class: e on it, knows he can't beat e level.

@lyv- No, in fact, he doesn't have video game knowledge. He had to ask his sister how to open a message in a game since he didn't know how to do it.

The setting seems to be NPC world, not real Korea.
