Can anyone clarify what the happened with the deal? I reread it a couple times but it sounded like nothing changed.

He just said to do it with just the 2 of them and fill the rest, and then explained it as the architect son getting acknowledged for doing the raid 19 times, but wouldn't that have happened either way?

I think he meant "If your attack force clears 19 dungeons with no casualties and no injury[...]".
Also, 10 people get in the dungeon, 8 get immediately paid and leave, 2 clearing the actual dungeon... that's how I see this thing working.
Remember that in the previous dungeon, 8 people just left it without consequences (to bring pickaxes and smoke).

It's really badly explained, or translated (but I think explained is more likely). But I think what he actually meant is "With an attack force of only two people, you clear 19 dungeons. Now THAT would impress your father".

hmm they r giving our mc blue glowing eyes... i want them to make our mc bloody red glowing eyes one day and maybe something like he tries so hard even after reaching hp 0 and keep on "wanting to survive and be stronger" his eyes becomes red by his blood or something... but eh just because i prefer red as the sign of danger than blue

@aFFi Thanks, that does clear it up a little bit, considering the no injury part. Though it is kind of up in the air on what part of it would be impressive, as I'm not sure they'd want to explicitly tell people they did C rank dungeons with 2 people, an E and F ranker.

on one hand, I'm actually mildly disappointed he didn't take the cursed box (I get he's doing most of what he's doing to take care of his family which puts him loosely on the "good" path, but still I wanted to see cursed loots), but on the other hand I do think it's awesome he's going to an ancient hell-realm themed dungeon cause that means he's probably gonna kill a god's incarnation

@MangaAddict69 I would 100% take the cursed loot box in that situation, after all blessed things may be safer, but cursed is way better overall

@Shamz The way I see it, the blue eye trait is basically an indicator that he's a Player. The Lord statue in the beginning of the story when it first gained its true expression glowed red, that throne room could of very well housed the most powerful of all dungeon monsters given how many free handicaps were made compared to this S rank quest where a mob is simply running up on him to fight.

So it could just be to show how special the MC is and be used to show us any other Player characters, or its just the authors way of saying "He's focused!"

Oh hell, just how strong does this guy think he is? The predicted outcome would be the hearthstones not working because of the dungeon level, and MC ending up killing the boss to have to get out. I pray that I'm wrong because there isn't a shred of suspense in this story if it happens this way..
