@LysandersTreason So here we go, let's see how I do. I put quite a bit of effort into this

MC dies and reincarnates, but something goes wrong, as is apparent at this point.
He reincarnates as a Brick Eater, whose body quickly breaks down and is discarded.
Bobby finds his discarded body, with his soul stone still intact and brings it back to Luzeffle.
By using the ability to transfer soul stones to different bodies, Luzeffle implants MC in a body he created.
MC serves Luzeffle for a while, then meets another of the same race as Luzeffle, who tries to test MC.
After a small fight, MC, Bobby, and Martial Arts Zombie get upgraded bodies.
MC runs into shady man again, while on an errand to obtain a dangerous item for Luzeffle capable of stripping a body of it's soul stone, allowing another to posses it.
Mid-experiment, Martial Arts Zombie betrays Luzeffle and tries to take over the new body, but things go REALLY wrong, and it turns out that this whole time Luzeffle was using a surrogate body the whole time, since his body was being corroded by otherworldly magic due to a previous failed experiment.
Luzeffle continues his experiments on the MC in order to research how to stop the corrosion of his body.
Bobby starts feeling things for the MC, and casts him out to free him from Lezeffle.
MC picked up by shady ghost man again (because I can't remember his name).
MC insists on going back to save Bobby, and Shady Ghost Man who gives MC a special item to help him fight back against Luzeffle.
MC returns to Luzeffle to get Bobby, but Luzeffle basically destroyed Bobby while looking for how she was able to resist his commands.

This is getting really long

MC starts fighting Luzeffle, and he seems to be winning, the Luzeffle's minion devours MC's body and traps MC's soul within a prison-like soul stone.
MC meets Bappe, who's something like an overseer/god.
Bappe and MC begin searching for the gatekeeper, so that they can escape. Turns out it's the soul of Bobby.
Bobby stabs MC in the back (literally) and allows Luzeffle to begin analyzing MC's soul, and in turn access the otherworldly magic and begin to repair his body.
MC and Bobby have a heart to heart as Bobby feels that the MC is getting in the way of the atonement for the sins of her past life that she can barely remember, but clearly feels need atonement.

I almost didn't stop. Nearly spoiled the next chapter there...

Hey I really appreciate the awesome recap @Epicredeemer!

What doesn't make sense to me though is how Bobby was all nice to MC and saying how he doesn't deserve to atone alongside the others and now is trying to kill him just for getting in the way of her suddenly oh-so-important atonement. Is that not a sin too?... But I guess we need a reason to keep it all intense so eh.

@JustA_ Her feelings are closer to "He hasn't done anything to atone for" but his constant interfering in her atonement has irked her
