works for insect with a hive-mind, although in the case of bees or hornets, you have both gender, and sometimes a female worker will try and lay egg to take over the queen ... so not as perfect has people might thing .
As for human, I've yet to see a more toxic working environment than a full female one, after a while the workplace change into a fashion show where if you can't follow you get treated like shit with a concurrent backstabbing competition..
