@givemersspls I think the point was less the purple smoke stones and more the recruitment since getting a bunch more people at gold and silver level before they use spirit to cultivate is a huge boost and glory city does need to replace the clan they just killed, since I dont think he needs the smoke stones now just he likes to gather resources when he can and this allows him to give them charity without hurting their pride by just giving them x amount of food was the goal since if you pay for it you are still capable while charity can feel like failure
