It's a cgdct hobby manga, but the hobby is being Darwin with a time machine. A constructed fantasy hobby for people who loved books about ancient species as a kid. Smart choice, what kid doesn't love prehistoric creatures?

Really liked the drawings of dinosaurs and plants based on fossil records, contrasted to these moe blob researchers. Girl's last time machine?!

Though I wonder what they're planning on doing in the ediacaran other than taking samples in diving suits. It'd make for a pretty bleak beach episode
