Koi Inu scanlations have now been ongoing for 4 years! The project was started by carolusmengus in May of 2015 and, except for a hiatus when Coco had appendicitis and another hiatus when it took a couple months to find a replacement translator when charlemagne reliquished the position, a new chapter has been scanlated and published just about every week. For better or worse, with almost 200 chapters Japanese chapters published, it doesn't look like it's going to end any time soon but I'm still committed to see it through to the end as long as I have a translator.

I cant even imagine how mentally taxing could it be to translate something like this.

@darara Thanks! Although I don't do the translating, I do spend somewhere between 2 to 4 hours on each chapter depending on how much text there is and how much redrawing needs to be done. But, yeah, chapters like this one where I'm not really interested in the content do certainly tax the motivation.

Let's not forget the foreshadowing in chapter 169 of a pending meeting with Subaru...

@FredFriendly That's certainly a good amount of time dedicated to Chiyo and Igarashi's shenanigans. It seems like the trip arc is over and we are in the transition to a new arc, and I have to say all the questions from the trip arc seem largely unresolved.

@Nobi Yes, the trip arc is now over and we're into the Nagatsuki <> Ookuma de-escalation arc. After all, there were so many chapters wasted on the build up of Nagatsuki's delusional love affair with Ookuma that there now must be an equal number of chapters wasted on deflating her delusions... Aren't we lucky!? (Note: the key word here is: wasted)

Oh, if you're waiting for those questions raised by Chiyo's actions during the vacation to be resolved any time soon, don't hold your breath...

As usual, Igarashi's "friend/s" being the most supportive people ever. Seriously, i can't remember the last time they haven't blamed igarashi for something or asking what he "fucked" up, AKA what Chiyo has misunderstood and blamed him for that he must forever take the blame for in front of his friends. Honestly, they are as bad as Chiyo at this point.

Actually, they've been just as bad as Chiyo for a very long time. Let's not forget that it was 100 chapters ago that they all jumped to the conclusion that Igarashi was cheating on Chiyo with Miyako (red glasses girl) without bothering to actually ask him what he was doing when he was, of course, completely innocent. Shishijima would just as soon Igarashi and Chiyo would break up as he is under the delusion that he'd have a chance to get into her pants (or at least play with her boobs). Kitamoto has an height complex that makes him think that he would be a better match for Chiyo than Igarashi.

I'm enjoying Chiyo getting the cold shoulder, for once - normally, it's Igarashi, and for reasons either beyond his control or situations willfully misinterpreted by his "friends."
