@greyhud90 well one is they know he’s powerful two his a lot more trust worthy than anybody in the adventure guild cause he has a kid so chances of him touching the goods is low. And placing a request will take a lot of time and they have to wait for someone to actually accept.

This was handled so poorly. He insulted all those girls by turning them down in that way, he breaks the promise they based their relationship on, he made her cry and also gave her such a bad explanation just because the story needed some personal development. And it'll be possible to confirm it to be a bad development when the girls will totally forget about the insult (which was the equivalent of saying "you are trash, totally unable to be mothers and I don't want my girl next to any of you human scum ever") and be chummy again with MC as if nothing happened.

PS: I'm not saying they don't deserve such insult (I don't think they do, but it's not important) just don't think you can insult a girl like that and expect me to believe she won't care. They can surely fake it, but if it's actual development that the author wants, than that's what they are searching for and they surely show a glimpse, a discrepancy in their behavior to show that they actually didn't like that thing. Just not as if he went back in time and nothing happened. I mean, don't put a development there in the first place if you make him such a Mary Sue soon afterward.
