First, ehhh this story being more about those girls being friends than it is about Komi making friends.
Secondly, feels like the moral of the story is kind of lost when she doesn't want to win with popularity by getting Komi or Najimi to represent her but is totally okay with bamboozling everyone with nonsense to win.
I liked this arc a lot! It's nice that there can be non-comedy arcs which revolve around other characters than Komi and have meaningful development for them. This whole big roster of friends wouldn't make much sense if they were just one-dimensional arbitrary checks on Komi's friend list.
I'd like to see more arcs like this focusing on Komi's friends!
@ Echonic
You're kidding right? I'm fairly certain that you are talking about the average Japanese female seeing as the average Japanese male loses it at 30 to never.
@Cylent-Nite The point is that Kiyoko, while she seems (that is, often is) like a bitch, she's actually like everyone other student in the school, which makes her fit to represent them. That is, she's a total weirdo.
At least, that's how I interpret it. It's probably completely wrong, but that's how I chose to see it.
