It is possible...but didn't the writing say something about the 7 princesses?

No matter what I DO somehow expect the witch to be added as an 8th wife.

Also, this chapter REALLY sold me on the idea that this witch is not evil in any way and I am now questioning if she is actually protecting the kingdom. She may not have been the one to cause the sleep curse and someone more sinister did it. Our lovely witchfailure (in the most endearing way possible) is the one protecting the kingdom with the vines AND the dragon so nothing happens until someone comes along to break the curse. Having said that, she MAY be testing everyone here and I question if she even realizes that she is fighting the princesses and their rescuer...maybe she thinks that they are just random interlopers.
