In chapter 99 when we see a partial backstory for Tanjiro's ancestors, we see a guy who looks a lot like the Upper Moon One guy but I had my doubts as to whether or not it really was him. Looks like I was right because comparing the chapters side-by-side shows that it really was the younger brother who spoke with Sumiyoshi (Tanjiro's ancestor). Hence, Yoriichi (younger twin brother) must have been the one to pass on his sword and breathing techniques to Tanjiro's family in the form of the hino-kami kagura dances. I so-called it! Now I just wish he would get to meet up with Tanjiro before dying. >
