Lol, totally out of line with the mythology. Heracles was supposed to have made it through godhood with effort and fortitude during his 12 works that lead to his redemption for the sin of killing his family at the time. As if Ambrosia would be such a shortcut to godhood. =.=

Why does everyone keep forgetting that in this story they have a premise "some history and mythology are completely misunderstood by humanity"

The more I see that fight, the more I believe a "tie" will appear.

Heracles is too stubborn to die to Evil. And Jack is to sneacky to simply let the fight continue being so boring as "throw many knive and hoping he die".

In a sense Heracles will won against Evil. Yet loose on the long run with the fact that he won't be able to call on the Gods to defend humanity. And Humanity won't exactly lose since another God will bite the dust.

@DringDring @ERode

imo, heracles will lose.

well, in a way, heracles is to blame for this, isn't he?
because of his 'overflowing' justice, he basically made zeus promised him not to meddle with the humans. effectively making the humans ignorant of the gods existence.
so the human get more and more unrestrained until the gods can't take it anymore and want to annihilate them.

it's the blind justice, without any regards of the consequences.
it's not even justice at this point. it's his ego.
because justice is based on the law. and it used to be, the gods make the law. so by protecting thebes, hercules is actually pushing for injustice.

my prediction is, jack will point this out, shaking heracles mental state, and win.

I'm still trying to understand why Heracles voted humanity should end if he doesn't believe that, and before you ask, yes, the vote for humanity's end was said to be "unanimous", not "99%" in favour during chapter 1. I'm going to have to assume the author just didn't actually realize he'd make it this far but it still bugs me.

@Chrona Loki called Heracles a demi-god in the first chapter he appeared, so maybe like Brünhilde he didn't get a vote.
