@Kanami-chan Funny you say that, because I actually do scanlate. So I've got the expertise to call out a shitty job when I see it. And it's so bad that you can just tell that the translator never made it into high school. You can just tell that the typesetter has never typeset a thing in their life. You can just tell that the editor thinks redrawing consists of smudging everything over with one color instead of trying to make it look like the original manga. But there's no point in me changing anything, since there's already an actual group working on the manga. I really don't see why yet another group has to put out their extremely ~QUALITY~ translation when there's already one working consistently on this manga with much better quality. All that says to me is that they're wasting their time, when they could be working on other manga that have no translations and would appreciate even the most incompetent of teams working on them. But why don't they do that? Why do they snipe? Gotta get that clout of course.

@oginohusband Thank you, btw. Someone's gotta tell the truth or people will start to think low-quality scanlations are the norm. This manga deserves better.

Scan Wars V: The Cong Strikes Back
In all seriousness, though, you guys could really use a native English PR. The translation's a bit more readable this time around, but still very clumsily phrased.

@StorageCrate

We deeply apologize if our works have not reached the quality standards it ought to be, As we have said this before we are inexperienced and we would like to hear all our faults laid bare so that in the future we could at least turn it from "shit" to fertilizable "shit"

As for the sniping, me and my friends working on Iruma-Kun just really really love this series with a passion and we had hoped that at least we could've shared our lucky opportunity to read it- but we also understand that emotions does not make good decisions.

We understand your dissapointment and fustration and we would like to rectify that in the looming future-
As much as we can we would love to learn from our mistakes, especially if it's from those way more experienced than we may ever be!

Thank you for your time!

@LyallKins Looks like chapters 66-69 are already spoken for. Perhaps what you could do is fill in the blanks between those SSSSS chapters, instead of wasting your time on repeating chapters. That would be the best case for everyone, and would give you more time to "practice" on a manga without sullying it too much. Because you know, that's what Mairimashita Iruma-kun deserves: a group that's just testing out their skills for the first time, sniping its chapters from a group that's already doing a much better job.

Oh wait, I forgot that you're doing an indirect translation that's not from Japanese, and therefore you can't actually do that, since WH translation hasn't gone past 78. Well, no matter then. Continue to play telephone with the translation, and try not to fuck it up too much before /a/ can replace your shitty job with their chapters. Hire a proofreader who knows actual English, since apparently no one does between the 4 of you. Also, fire your typesetter and tell them to come back once they actually learn how to typeset (which is not just writing words in a bubble, who would've thought?).

I think people are going way to far, Anyone Can translate if they want, their IS no right owner of the translation, if you want to follow one group only for having good quality than just ignore the others one

@givemersspls Depends on how manu StorageCrate's we get; there are people who care more about purity of translation and scanlation rights than the actual manga, and while they're not numerous, they certainly are quite loud.

As for me? I'd rather stay on the sidelines of this whole drama and simply enjoy the manga; if a "better" scanlation comes, then I will read it and compare/fill in the blanks, otherwise I will just enjoy what I can actually get.
