To lewd or not to lewd, that is the question.

How exactly does sorting out a bug take so much time in the code of a small, simple game? In the first place the one who wrote the code would find it a whole lot easier to figure out what is wrong and where in the code it's wrong. If there was a third party library she was using to handle sounds, animations, or something, and it was constantly and consistently breaking, asking for help to find a replacement or figuring out why it doesn't work would sound more plausible, though.

You might be looking into this a little bit too deeply, my friend. You can easily chalk it up as it being manga/anime logic being used to advance the story forward and to facilitate some character growth.

If anything, we don't know how much progress has been made on the game so far, and without knowing that we don't know how much code they have to go through as a result. Moreover, Kuroneko's game got critiqued by the members of the club for being too large scale for the competition they're entering, so we can't really call it small or simple. Also, we don't know how much time they have left to sort out the specific bug that they're encountering. But frankly, you shouldn't really look at these things too deeply or else you'll ruin your own experience.

Hope you're enjoying the manga!

@ArsenalTech Don't worry, I'm enjoying these. Thanks for bringing them here! I'm not annoyed or anything by that thing I was commenting on. I just sometimes like to make fun of authors who decide to rely on some technical detail outside of their field of expertise to carry out some plot in the story. Of course great many a manga has such occasions. If I was an author of some sort, I'm sure I'd be guilty of it as well.
