@tanooki - Why would they say vice when it's referencing grip -- like a vise?

Thanks for the release! Seems like a bit of a weird power-up, but ok!
I feel bad for that poor kitty...

So what's is the reasonable amount of time to upload the newest chapters from WSJ here now that are new rules about them? This is a legit question.

Won't this affect MangaPlus user traffic? Because I love these translations over those "official".

@NeroPR It kinda depends. This week was a special case because the chapter came out earlier in Japanese, while being delayed in English. So we were able to work on it earlier and finished some time on Saturday. However, I waited until a few hours after the Mangaplus release on Monday to upload here, so they could get some traffic. (Someone else uploaded the chapter before the Mangaplus version came out, but they were someone unrelated so I couldn't really control that.)
But usually the Mangaplus release comes out on (my) Sunday afternoon, we work on the chapter and release it Sunday night/Monday morning, giving the Mangaplus version around 8-10 hours of head start at the very least. If people are worried about traffic, I don't mind uploading later if that helps Mangaplus get more views as well.

@Happily_Grim because we spell the gripping apparatus "vice" with a C, didn't know there was an alternative ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@unnaturalsolace thanks for the info. It really gets tricky when you think about how much time would be acceptable to know if your uploads would potentially harm the MangaPlus service. In my case, I would wait 24 hours just to be sure. It is hard to estimate what would be better, especially when Viz Media and Shueisha are breathing down on our necks lately.

@tanooki - Gotcha. Wasn't sure if I was missing a joke or something lol. As I've always known "vice" as something as a bad practice or a part of a title, while "vise" is reference to the tool. Guess it's a UK or US thing, like colour or color, favourite or favorite, neighbour or neighbor lol.
