This series is good, but I just feel that it's going downhill.

I'll just be honest here, I don't like how almost all people on this series has "sad background". The essence of sad feelings is just gone like, "Oh it's back story, probably another sad story again". Well even though some of it is actually good like that Upper Moon 3

Hope author can end this series perfectly

maybe threw Muzan into a space on volcano lol jk

@Xinser why wouldn’t all the men and women of the Demon Slayer Corps have a sad background? Pushed to the brink by man-eating demons who either directly or by influence destroyed their old lives, same goes for Demons as well. Hell even Muzan was some feeble sick guy. Unless you mean something else?

@MemeWithinAMeme in my opinion, if almost all of the villains in one series is driven by "Damn something bad happens to me, it's so sad, I hate everyone, I must kill and be villain" is boring. I rather a villain that don't have sad past, and has a strong ideology.

But don't get me wrong, isn't that I don't like it. Rui, Akaza, and that brother sister villain made me cry. Maybe author trying to bring something relatable so readers would feel it too, and it's a fine point.

@xinser

I believe that the characters are all joined together by the “thought that lives on” of unforgiving the demons for the pain in their lives.

They have all gotten to this point because of their hardships and still preserving through them. What they are doing now is fighting for their happiness. The family that they created within the Demon Corps and protecting all the innocent people who deserve to live happy lives.

I do see your point that the “Story times” can get a bit redundant with similar stories about families dying. if you look back to the first book, Tomioka even talks about how skilled demon slayers are those fueled by their past experiences of family or loved ones dying to demons.

As for the plot, I believe that, Nezuko will arrive at the battle and use her blood flames to expel the poison from the fighters. At the same time, Muzan will get a hold of a part of Nezuko’s blood which will allow him to ‘conquer the sun’. From then on it will be up to Tanjiro to use the 13th form of the kagura dance or he might make a 14th form that resembled the dance that has been passed down for generations to defeat Muzan. Even then I believe Muzan will resort to his old tricks and allow a part of his body to escape and he will hide in the shadows regaining his strength until ‘Tanjiro’ reaches the end of his life. Like how Muzan waited for the first sun breather to die.

Anyways thanks for reading this far :)

As far as I can see, the only villain in this series is Muzan. The other (demons) are "victims" distorted by their sins and immortality.
They were mere humans, with problems and maybe not even good people (It really is not the point here). But humans they were, and they fell into temptation and became corrupted by being turned into demons by Muzan.
Muzan clearly only selects people who he thinks he can control to become demons. So all demons are fuckedup by definition (sometimes Muzan fucks up. But more oftem then not he's right.)

Inosuke sliced Muzan twice. Although it's done during invisibility, badass.
