I wonder if the shopkeeper is a demon; he has strange eyes.
It's interesting to learn that it's dangerous to use magic with an underdeveloped body. Shouldn't he have taken the opportunity to ask more about that? It seems quite important to know the risks of what you're doing.
Well, I don't expect him to get permanently hurt since he's the protagonist.
Besides, right now, rather than magic, it's the monster that appeared that's more likely to hurt him. It's quite strange how a monster appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Are there monster summoners who infiltrated the city or something?
Anyways, I'm looking forward to more chapters.

Why is there a problem with monsters roaming the streets of the city capital? what weird setting is this that allows such a thing? Does the city not have walls? does it not have guards patrolling the entrances and exits? There better be a very clear explanation of how such a thing happens.

While I want to give real examples of bears walking in, escaped zoo animals, coming out from sewers but this fantasy setting.
For a monster that no one knows about, probably foul things at play

A knight must prove their worth by their through action

English is tough. It can be understood through thorough thought though. :lul:

I'm guessing TL meant one of the following...
  • A knight must prove their worth by their thorough action
  • A knight must prove their worth through their action
I like the second one better, but the first one only required adding an O to change the word 'through' into 'thorough' so it made sense grammatically.
