I was always mad how the first Kengan Asura ended with Ohma getting more and more sick, you know? he didn't get to enjoy life in peace, it was always survival, rage and madness, only for a brief moment he knew what family was like and then he "died" ... Secondly, even the name of that move was because it was a deadly technique that destroyed his body. It was taking out an "advance", like a loan, that he would have to pay back in the future - by dying. Is Ohma just body surfing whenever he burns one out? Or did he just apply for debt relief?

Thirdly, why should I celebrate Ohma coming back when him dying was the centrepiece of what made his character interesting?

Ohma is using the Advance, but he isn't using it at 100% like he did before so his heart and brain aren't getting damaged. The mad dude probably should wait for an explanation and change his hundies because they are clearly too tight on him.

Also you have to love Raian, "Fuck your exposition, you die now". Sure maybe he was going to tell some thing important but better be sure with crafty ass like him.

I always liked the name "Advance" better since it describes not just the strategy he takes on when he uses it, forgoing his redirection techniques and going full on attack mode, as well as describing the toll it was taking on his body. It is indeed a shame his "death" in Ashura was invalidated, but I don't feel too wronged, strangely enough. Still, it'll be far better if it had taken a toll on him even if he's still alive.

Anyways, I'm surprised the boss man got bodied so quickly. Not that I'm underestimating Raian and Ohma, I just thought he'd haul ass the moment things went sideways.
