Called it on the last chapter of kengan asura. Chances are the kure clan saved ohma with the intention of him marrying into the kure clan, hence raito and ohma are working together. At the end, even the old kure patriarch approved of ohma. As for how, probably some asspull about ancient kure arts that allow someone to basically go into stasis until they can be operated on.
