The only thing I don't like about this is that Iori is using violence. I mean, I get it as the comedic side of things... However, considering that Minami was practically abused --pretty badly I might add-- in her last "relationship" or whatever the heck it was, is kind of a terrible thing to go through. So, it kind of takes me out of the story.

@codydub03 I completely agree. Comedic violence in romance stories is always kind of questionable, but its particularly weird here since in some chapters violence is depicted as scary and realistic, and in other chapters violence is played for slapstick. I think non-violent physical comedy still works, e.g. I found it funny when Minami dragged Iori out of the konatsu, but seeing Iori hit Minami made me uncomfortable.

@mirewitch Exactly what I think, now granted in most mangas its mainly the girls that would give a good o'l slap to the face or bonk their male friends/partners on their head when they do something wrong and/or perverted, I totally understand that kinda comedic violence... However, like you said through-out most of Minamis back story violence their is portrayed as scary. It's like the only difference between the girl Minami was with before and Iori is Minami is in love with Iori, but still gets abused.

Often manga meant for mature audiences shows signs of one kink especially: S&M. I have a feeling that the author was aiming for a lesbian take on that as one of the elements in this manga and wanted to try to flip the dominant and submissive roles while at it. But the result is not quite there, obviously. ^^;

Different chapter order to the web series? Or is my brain dead again...?

Also, Minami is so amazingly butch-hot... my wife is getting a run for her money...

Iori is just such a failure of a human being. But not in any enormous way; just in those small, everyday matters ... like praying for money instead of your waifus health, like lazing about instead of preparing a nice welcome home for her ... it's what makes this manga so great.

the author is really undercutting the tragic backstory involving abuse with their poorly thought out "comedy". anyways they are gay and that's pretty great

It looks like it's the same order for me.

Raw of the next chapter has me a bit worried looking at it though...
Looks like more violence then just a "comedy" slap.

it's just not fun to cheer for their relationship when she has gone from one abusive relationship to another

@Nyarumi @Babydel
I guess it’s because I didn’t read the mangaka stuff in Japanese (“Who are you??? Where’s my usual gayness???”) and it’s so much further ahead.

...I love this series.

People are fucking insane if they think Iori is horribly abusing Minami, yeah she had an insanely shitty childhood and was abused by a person that was taking advantage of her emotional weakness and dependance, but is that what defines Minami now ? Fuck no shes a pretty amazing person for leaving that behind and not wallowing in what a shitty lifes shes had, thinking the universe is against her and that she should be treated like glass.

Minami wants to be treated just like a regular girl, at various points shes stated she wants her past to be just that the past, for it to stay as a memory and not influence what shes doing now, not that most shitheads seem to understand that, what ? You think she should be pitied her whole life ? Treated with extreme care so that she doesnt get triggered? What do you think she is a 300 pound feminist? Her hair is blonde not blue, pink or red mates.

Iori hits her cuz she had something embarrassing done to her in public, just a smack of the head or something equally innocuous and everyone starts screaming physical abuse or something? Wtf is this twitter? A news site comment section?

Idk if you've ever experienced a relationship and im not even talking romantically here even friends do the usual playful smack here and there and its not abuse, for now anyways ....

My disappointment towards the people gathering here is immeasurable tbh, i hope and pray Japanese media never gets tainted with this type of shit its the last bastion of freedom.
