Can only hope the movie stays in Japan. They can do stupid amounts of gore right and that is whats needed for OPM. Not just talking about obvious gore fests like "Tokyo Gore Police" but more wasn't expecting that much gore as in "Yamato (2005)".

This was a really interesting chapter. TO people who say the manga is just adding filler, I give them this. It may seem like it, but when the arc is all finished, it'll be a more cohesive, better story.

It'll be all women like Ghostbusters, and all black and labeled "totally diverse" as in Black Panther, and not for "toxic male manbaby fanboys" like Capt. Marvel/Terminator Dark fate/Charlie's Angels (2019)/Star Wars/Star Trek (2009-2020)/Doctor Who. We'll be lucky to get a Dragonball Evolution. Personally I'm hoping for corona to lay waste to California.

Looked into who is doing the movie and it was the people at Sony who did Venom and Jumanji.
Those were pretty good really.

I'm not sure how well the format will work with live action though but it might be ok.
Deadpool went well and it was a bit similar in how it was an unorthodox, self-aware superhero movie.

Well there are only "people" in OPM, just "plain skinned/common Japanese", pale Japanese and Tanned Japanese people here. No issues of race with a pangea continent and only cities from a to z.
