Wait, I thought hand-washing dishes in 2020 was a meme. Do you not literally save up on literally everything, water, money, time, etc. by using the damn machine you probably have for this very purpose already?

@twinklecake Not every household has a washing machine, particularly anyone living in an older established building. In addition if you handwash you don't need an insane amount of dishes, especially if you live by yourself. With a dishwasher you have you have as much dishes as you do dishwasher space for it to be cost effective, so people who like to clean stuff right after finishing their food would waste money on that end.

@twinklecake dishwashers are inefficient if you're not totally filling them, and waiting for that many dishes to pile up is unpractical/nasty for most.
Plus still needing to do a bit of handwashing first to get rid of solids / caffeine stains / etc., or having dishwasher-unsafe items.
And then there's the satisfaction of getting something done right with your own two hands.

Lootboxes Gacha games are the modern equivalent of yakuza loan sharks, or shakedowns, or whatever it is you call them mafia scamming people of their money.

Also fishies.

@twinklecake It's not a question of who doesn't use dishwashers, it's who uses dishwashers, lol.
