@henman The specifics aren't relevant to the joke; its wordplay with homonyms. That said, an anal prolapse is when the some of the flesh inside a person's anus, i.e. their rectum, is outside their body. This usually happens after an intense bowel movement. It isn't a particularly dangerous condition; usually either the body will fix itself or it can be manually fixed by the person suffering it. However if you feel pain or it happens frequently you should go see a doctor.

You know I would probably do fine in Japan, I'm not a hugger or a kisser either. But, the concept of "pampering" and "spoiling" in Japan is very different from what I have experienced here in the US. It's funny to me that just praising someone for a 'job well done' can be considered spoiling. In other manga and anime, I've seen it that just hugging and unconditionally loving your children is considers "spoiling", it's interesting how different cultures can be.

And I never thought I would see and explanation of what a prolapsed anus was on these forums.

@henman You mean what a prolapsed anus is? Basically, your rectum falls out of your ass. It's commonly caused by conspitation and straining your asshole too much. Needless to say, it's extremely painful and disgusting.
