Well Mendel is under him so he should get the ring out loss. Maybe if he swung him around too but like ERO-TAEPODONG says: it will be a wakeup call

The state of people butthurt over Gaolong losing cos he forgot the rules lol. Medel is obviously the weaker fighter but he won the battle of brains Gaolong should have been more aware of his surroundings. Lose the battle to win the war Kengan team are in for it now lol. Well played author!

Don't hate the player hate the game! Medel is still a bitch though state of him lol.

Gaolong was just excited to fight a legend in the boxing community. Didn't imagine he'd get baited this hard but I suppose its fine to introduce what the rest of the purgatory fights will look like.

Having the first match end in a draw. Good move, author. Keep us on our toes guessing how the rest of the matches are going to turn out.

Medel actually was a superior striker, though. As a boxer, he couldn’t avoid getting hit, and that was a problem he had even back when he was a heavyweight. It’s just that when he started participating in underground fighting matches, it wore him down more. His new fighting style made him easier to take down if he’s hit, but it also allowed him to just avoid getting hit entirely.

Gaolang never managed to hit Medel when he was using his custom style. That’s what a lot of people are missing out here, and honestly, all Carlos’ detractors are probably just piling on unrelated resentment to criticize him as being weak. The fact is, though, the manga even has the characters themselves pointing out that Medel reverted to a boxing stance. The reversal was caused because of one mistake that Gaolang capitalized on and not some fatal flaw in Carlos’ fighting style.

Carlos and Gaolang fought. A mistake happened and it became impossible for Carlos to overpower him anymore. Carlos settled for the next best thing, not losing. The end. The way you go on, it’s like you’re saying Carlos should just have put his hands up and go “I give up.” the moment Gaolang finally got to start pounding on him.
