@Tiniuc that is more than likely my bad. As far as I’m aware, the word for distinction of sex and gender are the same character(s): 性別. I wasn’t very familiar with Japanese at the time, so I went with the first definition of gender. But, considering it now, the other definition would have been a much closer fit for what it is. I’ll likely redo this chapter later on, as there are other things I want to clarify and change as well. I hope this clears up this mistake, though this is a bit of a late reply.
