For a second I though, "well its a little harsh to hope she gets kidnapped". But after thinking it over, that might be a good thing lol! It would be interesting if something opens her eyes to the world and she gains some of the attributes that once embodied the original version of her character, while still retaining her love towards her the kid.

I hope we have a chapter where the mother is hit with the realization that 1) this is real life and not just Protagonist, Antagonist, etc 2) This is not modern times. You can't force something to be adopted when it makes literally no sense in their time. Really gotta fix the overly happy attitude, too.
