@Shaolin_Funk : Yeah, I know what you mean. Maybe he gets to experience all that love and courage himself? Maybe he consumes her memories? That god like being was very poorly thought out. Also Emma loosing her memories for a 1/2 chapter of suspense and sadness isn't really relevant if we're to end on a happy ending where everything is fine, she'll get her old life told back to her in stories, gets to be loved and babied by all... I mean, I wanted this great ending, but this feels like unnecessary backstab.
I'm a little sad because the ending for Demon Slayer was also weird and fucking Meh...
@Midnight_Sloth my thoughts exactly. BUT, tbh, I'd much rather take a half baked ending to a fantastic series over the neverending treatment of stuff like Bleach & co. I'm glad such great mangakas are now free to start up new passion projects (because they're both there now, they can pitch whatever the fuck they want).
