This is probably the first time Ive seen since Heihachi Mishima where the old martial arts master appears in casual modern clothing as opposed to the typical japanese/chinese traditional clothing.
I hope Naoya gets dumpstered for Beardie. No offense, great comic relief, but I kinda don't care about having the Clown fight. I'll take the Devil instead.
This arc right now just feels like total filler garbage. This series has always been about fighters of different styles and arts duking it out. But now it just feels like it's become the overused cliche of the "Hero agaisnt the Villain who uses the same moves". If the next fight follows this pattern I'm dropping until we're done with these starter rounds.
I hate that rihito's jobbing rn. I'm guessing it's gonna turn around cuz tropes, but i expected him to be way further ahead than this with his training.
