I didn't thought about that, like an integer overflow in programming, his magic level is so high that magic meter can only show the last 3 digits and thus any number above 999 will revert back to 0?

Then why do you guys think that his magic power is 4+ digits when the strongest human in history is below 100 ? If I remember right just by 10 points apart and the strength gap is very big.
What make your heads think that he is thousands if not millions time stronger than the strongest human in history ?

It is much more believable that his power is 002 and why he is so strong is because the cheat he got than he is someone millions times stronger than the peak of mankind from the start

They did question why he has a 0 at the front.
But no one has EVER had a max potential over 80.
So, it's more logical to assume that there's something odd with his magic than to assume that he not only has potential several tiers above the greatest person ever, but he started with that power as a baby.

Indeed, when he himself considered the possibility, he put a lot of effort to make a scanner go to 3 digits - and had the same result.
It's clearly a glitch.

@mutsutakashi the goddess basically admits to giving him a 4 digit magic level, and you don't accidentally put 00s in front of an integer yet not do the same for any other character on a consistent basis.
