While this version of the story is suffering from Naruto syndrome, that is putting too much filler when it is not necessary, it does something that the webnovel fail to do: It shows that even acting the way she does Tatsumaki really do take her role as a hero seriously and put more thought on the way she acts than it appears in a shallow look.

It seems that the ranks are based on fame more than in power or success rate so Blast keeps his ranking.
But even that is a little shaky because King, said to be as strong if not stronger than Blast and is more popular than Blast, is only rank 7. Which could be attributed to his low participation in hero activity but then again Blast does nothing as far we know and is still number 1.
