I don't know how to say this..but I think Shonen Jump is gonna axe this series. 😭😭😭😭😭

For those who don't know...Shonen Jump magazine has a system where there is rankings of consecutive running series. I think it is upto Rank #15 or #14. And whichever series ranks low rather repeatedly after every week edition gets axed( Terminated ). It is a system placed so that better series can take it's place and upcomming better authors can get the gig rather than a author who gets low rankings. And the problem is it would be Ok if the series had been near it's conclusion and so then a time would be given for the author to wrap up. But a series like this which has just started is gonna get axed on spot without warning.

This week it again ranked very low...#14. I guess this type of deep dramatic manga isn't popular for young boys which is target audience. But it's really a pretty great manga alongside Act-Age and SpyXFamily compared to likes of Moriking, Bone Collector....I will kill the Shuesha editors if this gets axed.

I HATE japanese people for that. They just dont see how great of a series this is. Last place in the TOC???
This had so much potential and now is probably gonna get axed. :(

It'd be nice if this was able to make the jump to another Jump magazine if it's at risk of being axed, besides it being kind of rushed I enjoy it and feel like it'd do better in a seinen magazine.

It's a good idea, but poor in its execution.
Everything is slanty angles and way too high intensity.
Especially considering all we see are buildups and denouements, but never any actual on-panel struggle.

PROTAGONIST: "I'm going to do my hardest!"

(some stuff happens that we don't get to see)

PROTAGONIST: "Huh. I guess my hardest wasn't good enough. But I'll do even better next time!"

Honestly, I'm not sure why people keep trying this in Shonen magazines. Maintaining a child's attention with a story about an adult's job is difficult work at cross-purposes.

Duuuuude, this is going to stimulate my Steins;Gate withdrawal. At the very least, I hope it does...

I feel like this manga is made for me. And I think that's on purpose. My favorite manga by a long shot is Bakuman. And my favorite anime tied with 2 others is Steins;Gate. I don't know if others will ever feel this way. But I think if you've enjoyed Bakuman or Steins;Gate this is it for you. A 7 is too low at worst I'd give it an 8.3.

Edit: For all the people who complain about pacing I think this is the best way for it to go about it. It doesn't have the nuance of Steins;Gate or the style to pack like 400 words to a page like Bakuman does. So it's forced to use impact and speed to keep you interested. A lot of manga do this and some think it doesn't work but 11 chapters in and so far I think it's fine. I just hope it takes more time on his reactions next time. This is more about spending time on emotion than on details. At least with this type of story.

2nd Edit: On rereading this latest chapter it has no problem with pacing? The way it's formatted and everything makes me believe it's more a problem of limits than anything. If it doesn't slow down from here I'll have a problem though. It seemed to want to hurry onto the time travel without giving too many details on him doing the manga which is a smart move. And it properly took its time with the emotional bits, but if it doesn't take a breather in the next chapter I might have a problem. It needs a minimum of 30 pages to pull off this next chapter properly in my opinion.
