who wanna make bet that this is either :
1. A simulation, and he's just about to be released
2. Absolute destruction, everyone dies
3. Only 2 of them alive (or 3 because of cover) and leads the next gen of new life of mixed human-witch.
4. Never real, just an imagination or a prophecy.
5. He goes back in time.
6. Author reveals himself as the one true deity that created these foul beings, was disappointed in this test creation he had made in order to see how mixing two species of intelligent life will fare, in the end decides to bestow upon them the power of science in order to kill themselves.. which they unsuccessfully do so author had to take it upon himself to flick this entire world into nonexistence and make another one.
and I have my bets on 6.
