So he is either still alive or they are trying to cover it up but, wouldn't be easier to cover it up by putting him on the list of the dead or missing? I mean yea it would be supicious but wouldn't impossible for it to happen. It might just be the duke or the king trying to cover for her; that is someone may be useful to the kingdom or dukedom if the investigation doesn't happen and she doesn't get into any trouble. But that's just my thoughts.

Based on what I know of Viking names (since that appears to be the kind of Dane he is,) Ku-noot should be the proper pronunciation.

My guess is that the creature it was made from has cursed it, and that is likely why Harshal is a major boss enemy in the game the MC played on Earth, considering the fact that Harshal only ever seems to have that level of power when the gauntlet mixed with the body's instincts are at play. I'm even thinking that the guantlet went on to possess Knut

Sure the real one was just a kid at the time but she did still give the okay/order for the torture...and we know she is NOT a good person all the same.

Guy was 100% the good guy here from everything he knew.

stranger still our MC only really started to see harshal after he was gifted the gauntlet
and i'm starting theorising that the monster the gauntlet was made from that harshall slew might've been also a demon because of its curse
i'm also thinking the gauntlet has some sort of a corruption radiation on anyone who wears it and get wounded by it, the harhall our MC have been seeing might've been a corrupted illusion produced by the gauntlet all along

It's entirely feasible, and it's not all that out there either since a cursed weapon that corrupts the wearer isn't all that uncommon. Combine this with the stark difference between the more apathetic child Harshall that just simply didn't seem to care vs the more bloodthirsty Harshall that actively craves death and carnage, and it's honestly pretty likely that the gauntlet is cursed by something to corrupt those around it 🤔

Well I wouldn't quite say she gave the okay, but it is true that she didn't anything that would prevent the girl from being doomed to such a fate. I honestly don't agree that Knut was 100% the good guy either. Yeah by his perspective maybe, but that's true of all that crave vengeance. The issue with his thinking is that he blames Harshall specifically just because she didn't take the girl as her slave (the only way Knut's sister was going to avoid such a fate since Harshall wouldn't have been allowed to show mercy even if she wanted to, considering her father.) It's one of the few occasions where'd it'd honestly be more fair for him to hate her because of her race, rather than laying all blame on Harshall for what happened to his sister, dude was completely consumed by vengeance 🤔

I mean he probably does hate her entire group/race, its just she's the only one whose right here in front of him trying to "pretend to be good". It would understandably be a slap in the face to see someone who took part in your families murders, no matter how small, show up at your school for heroes as if they did nothing wrong before.
