Hmm, reading this makes me feel like a bad person. It's supposed to be this innocent bond between adult and child, but the blood and the biting are drawing my thoughts in a different direction. Author, why are you doing this to me? I just want to enjoy it as a wholesome, heartwarming story about two people overcoming loss. 😭
